Pencils

- Emily

Since I've started job in July, I've definitely taken full advantage of wearing jeans. This week we needed to dress up for clients coming in, so I busted out a few pencil skirts. If you have followed this blog for any length of time, y'all know I love pencil skirts! Pencil skirts can be styled so many different ways!

This was yesterday on Valentine's Day. Had to be a little festive with some red. I dressed the skirt up with a versatile black blazer I got on sale at Bloomingdales during the summer.

Shirt and Skirt - The Limited; Blazer - Ted Baker; Tights - Target; Shoes - Vince Camuto; Necklace - Stella & Dot

I had been eyeing this skirt at White House Black Market. I did not own any striped pencil skirts, so I waited for this to go on sale! When I was in Chicago, it was just waiting for me on the rack! I have been mixing patterns a lot lately, so I thought I would continue the trend with polka dots and stripes. How do you think it looks together?

Skirt - WHBM; Cardigan - Madewell; Cami and Tights - The Limited; Shoes - Christian Louboutin; Bracelets - Coach and Stella & Dot

  5. You look great in both outfits. I love a sale and it must have been meant for you. The Limited is one of my favorite stores. I find it so interesting how people can style clothes from the same store in such different ways.
